For those who weren’t able to make it to our first Comics Out Loud event, the recording of last Saturday’s event with Old Growth Press is now up on our YouTube with captions added over here:

On Saturday, October 17th, 7PM Eastern, Canada Comics Open Library (CCOL) partnered with Old Growth Press and authors Natalie Mark, Xulin Wang, Saul Freedman-Lawson, and Misbah Ahmed in an evening of comics being read out loud and discussion about the artists’ work!

This event is part of Comics Out Loud, a series of comics read-out-loud events prioritizing creators of marginalized genders and BIPOC creators. It is our hope that this and similar projects can also connect blind and visually challenged comics readers with comics and community.
