Summary, etc. note:
|
In this second chapter of "Mother, Come Home," a father and son, both trying to cope with the untimely death of the family's mother, are separated when the father is forced into a mental institute by the boy's uncle. The boy's world sinks deeper into a cartoon-ish fantasy as he devises a plan to escape and take his father with him. His escape brings him, garbed in a lion mask, to the darkest points of his father's asylum. |
