Summary, etc. note:
|
Adrian Tomine is among the top five cartoonists to emerge in the graphic novel renaissance of the past decade. Found in this collection of his early groundbreaking work are the complete strips originally published in Pulse! magazine, which Tomine started when he was 17, along with comics from Details.
A large section of Scrapbook is dedicated to Tomine's extensive illustration and design work, featuring his best material from major publications such as The New Yorker, Esquire, Rolling Stone and Time. Also included in this snappy, sharply designed book are his posters and his album cover artwork for bands like The Eels and Weezer. |
