Anja Wicki studied illustration at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst) and at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. In her works, Anja Wicki goes into various areas of sequential art and artistic design. With great naturalness, she combines in her stories seemingly prosaic elements with fantastically absurd ones. From the first panel, Anja Wicki allows the reader to feel the danger lurking in a scene reminiscent of a dream, and at the same time disturbingly realistic, and also draws the viewer into her utopian, false world.
