So I’ve Been Told is a bookwork based on Maryanna Hardy’s documentation of her friends’ “…inside jokes, cautionary tales, secrets and lies,” using ink, screen-printing, and paintings.
Her influences range from nature books, children’s stories, ornamental art, prairie churches, Quaker Art, Pennsylvania Dutch Hex signs, and the art of the order of Ursuline Nuns of Quebec.
Limited edition of 440 includes four-colour, hand printed jackets. Each print is unique with the blue and light grey/peach layers printed ona gradatron. |
